User Agreement:
Your use of this site constitutes your agreement and acceptance without modification of the notices, terms and conditions set forth herein. In addition, as a condition of your use of this site, you represent and warrant to Home Comfort that you will not use this site for any purpose that is unlawful, immoral or prohibited by these terms, conditions and notices. If you do not agree and accept without modification the notices, terms and conditions set forth herein, do not use this site. Other than this agreement and agreements between you and Home Comfort relating to the sale of products or services to you through this site, Home Comfort will not enter into any agreement with you or obligation to you through this site and no attempt to create such an agreement or obligation will be effective.

 

Pricing:
Prices are subject to change without notice. The prices provided on this site are quoted in U.S. dollars. Prices do not include shipping and handling or sales taxes, if applicable, which will be added to your order during the checkout process.  You are responsible for the payment of any shipping and handling charges and state and local sales or use taxes that may apply to your order.

Home Comfort does not guarantee that any content is accurate or complete, including price information and product specifications. If we discover any price errors or inaccuracies, they will be corrected in our systems in a timely manner.

 

Warranty Limitations:
Home Comfort makes no warranties, express or implied, for filters purchased at ehomecomfort.com.

 

Safe Shopping Guarantee:
Home Comfort guarantees that every transaction you make at ehomecomfort.com will be safe. We will not sell or lease your e-mail or physical addresses to any third parties, nor will we share your credit card information with anyone other than your credit card provider.

Guarantee Details:
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50, Home Comfort will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50. Home Comfort will cover this liability only if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at ehomecomfort.com while using the secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Shipping Policy:
Shipping and handling charges, as calculated during the checkout process, will be added to your order. All orders are shipped via UPS. Shipping prices are applicable to the 48 contiguous states only. Please call immediately to change ship-to information on an order that you have just placed.

Home Comfort does not accept international orders or orders outside of the 48 contiguous states.

 

PO Boxes:
You must provide an actual street address as the ship to destination. Orders will not be shipped to a PO Box.

 

Shipping Times:
Unless otherwise noted on our web site, all orders are shipped (i.e. leave our facility) within 24 hours of order placement. Orders placed after 2:30 pm PDT will be considered placed on the following business day. Normal transit time via UPS Ground is 3 to 5 days within the contiguous United States.

An order that you recently placed may already have been shipped if there is any delay between the time the order is placed and the time that you call in to request any changes. Merchandise that has already been shipped is the responsibility of the Customer to return for credit.

 

Shipping Charges:
Home Comfort is not responsible for any lost package that is incorrectly addressed due to customer error. We generate our shipping labels from the information the customer provides, so if you enter an incorrect or incomplete address (incorrect zip code, missing apartment/suite/office number/name, etc.) and your package is lost, Home Comfort is not responsible.

If you contact us by phone after your order has been placed regarding an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, we will make every effort to correct your information prior to your package being shipped. However, once your package has been processed and shipped, we cannot make any modifications to your shipment. If your order is lost or delivered to the incorrect address, we again are not responsible.

 

Local Pick Up:
Our local pick up option allows you to ship almost any filter available on ehomecomfort.com to Home Comfort’s office and receive FREE shipping on your order. Follow the steps below to receive free shipping using Home Comfort’s local pick up:

  1. Shop ehomecomfort.com to add the filters you wish to purchase to your cart.
  2. Select “Local Pick Up” during checkout as your shipping option.
  3. Within 1-3 business days, we will send you a notification that your filters are ready to pick up.

In-stock products will arrive at Home Comfort’s office approximately 1-3 business days after your order is submitted. Backordered products will arrive 1-3 business days after we receive additional stock. You will receive an email or telephone call letting you know when it is ready for pick-up, depending upon the preferred contact information you submit when you place your order.

Your order will be held at Home Comfort’s office for 30 days. If your order has not been picked up within 30 days, the purchaser forfeits ownership and the items will be restocked. If you cancel your order within 30 days, Home Comfort will return your purchase price less a 15% restocking fee. Special order filters are non-refundable.

Pick up hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, and 8:00am to 4:00pm on Fridays.

You may pick up your order at our office reception area at 2730 Roosevelt Boulevard, Building V, in Eugene, Oregon. You will need to have a valid photo ID along with your order number to retrieve your order.

The billing person is designated as the person authorized to pick up the order. If you would like to designate someone other than this person, authorization must be made in writing via fax at 541-302-3070 or by emailing dispatch@ehomecomfort.com. The email must be sent from the billing person’s email address. Please provide the authorized pick-up person’s full name as it appears on their photo ID.

 

Return Policy:
Home Comfort will refund the purchase price of any standard sized filter purchased from our site. Special order filters are non-refundable.

Home Comfort accepts returns via UPS and FedEx. Be sure to save your tracking number so we may confirm the receipt of your return. Filters that are returned must be unused and undamaged when they return to Home Comfort. In order to receive a refund, all merchandise must be returned within 15 days of the receipt of the product. If you receive a filter that is damaged and wish to return it, you must return the merchandise with a report of the damage within 15 days of the receipt of the product.  Filters that are delivered correctly and in good condition are the responsibility of the recipient if they wish to return them. Any package that is refused by the recipient and is returned to Home Comfort will be credited the price of the filters less the cost of the return shipping. All orders returned to Home Comfort due to incorrect information (incorrect name, city, zip code, etc.) will incur an additional charge to cover the inadvertent delivery.

Home Comfort will process the return in a timely manner. Filters, not freight, will be credited back to your card on record.

Fall Gift Card Drawing Rules:
The $100.00 gift certificate may be applied towards the balance of any filter purchase, maintenance appointment, or service appointment. The original certificate must be presented at the time of service to be considered valid. For filter purchases only, please visit or call our office at 541-345-2838 to place your order; the original certificate must be presented before the filter order will be shipped. This certificate may not be used on equipment installations, or on services performed, or filter purchases made prior to November 15, 2013. The gift certificate expires November 15, 2014, and must be redeemed prior to midnight on November 14, 2014. The certificate has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash. Reproductions, duplications, and facsimiles will not be accepted in lieu of the original certificate. Employees of Home Comfort/HCH Mechanical are not eligible to win. The Fall Gift Card Drawing is open to residents within the contiguous United States only.
